Forging a Southeast Asian Legacy:
From the Streets of Bangsaen to the Mulsanne Straight.
Petrolife Racing Team was not founded to enter a single race. It was founded to build something that endures — a professional, Southeast Asian identity inside the global GT racing ecosystem.
Backed by Petrolife, the Malaysian energy company, the team entered competition with a singular mandate: prove the model at GT4 level, then climb. Not a vanity project. Not a one-off guest entry. A structured, fundable programme where every result earns the right to the next step up.
The Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 was the first machine. P1 and P3 at the Bangsaen Grand Prix — the 20th anniversary edition of Thailand's landmark street race — was the first receipt.
The Mercedes-AMG GT3 has since been acquired. The GT3 programme is live. The Asian Le Mans Series entry is in planning. The road to Le Mans is not a vision statement — it is a schedule.
"Every race is a rung. Nothing here is a one-off — each result funds, staffs and sells the next step."

We run to the same operational standard as the top-tier endurance teams. Timing precision. Crew discipline. Data-led decisions at every stint. On a street circuit in Thailand or on the pit straight at Paul Ricard — the standard does not change.
The car is a tool. Our edge is in the data — tyre degradation models, stint simulation, BoP analysis. We out-engineer teams with bigger budgets because preparation is how underdogs win.
There is no Malaysian-identity team in the global GT3 and endurance ecosystem. That seat is empty. We intend to take it — Malaysian crew, Malaysian colours, Malaysian engineering, on grids at Sepang, Jerez and Portimão.
Not a talent pipeline that feeds someone else's team. These are Petrolife roles. Mechanics. Engineers. Data analysts. Content staff. Logistics coordinators. Southeast Asians building careers inside our operation as it climbs from GT4 to WEC.
Sponsors do not buy a sticker on a door. They buy a platform: paddock hospitality, corporate drive days through our Arrive & Drive programme, show-car appearances, B2B access at international rounds, and media assets that compound across the season.
"There is no Malaysian-identity team in the global GT3 and endurance ecosystem. That seat is empty. We intend to take it."
Results are the only currency that can't be bought. Every podium is the receipt — and the foundation for the next pitch.
